Background (Rogues): Lady Ainsley of Clan Weir

Ainsley has two one-point backgrounds: Assassin and Nemesis. I've tried to keep them vague, and have Ainsley mostly unaware of them. Blissful ignorance is kind of a theme with her.

Assassin—The men who killed her father want her dead, too. She is presently unaware of their existence, believing the fire was simply an accident.

Nemesis—The son of a Montaigne nobleman; he believes Ainsley and women like her are the reason his parents are estranged. He refuses to place any of the blame on his father, a man he idolizes.
