Weird thread to ask a question about descriptions of threads, but I will humor you.

You very well know that I would prefer not to picture them at all becuase I hate sorcery. But, if I must, they all look like a paranoid detective's murderboard wall covered in yarn.

I will be very happy to des ribe them in all sorts of vague colors and even say which ones smell like lingonberries. But after the immersive description, I am obligated to tell you it's a greed line or a conflict line bouncing between a couple people. Because I am never going to create or consult a consistant list of sorte thread colors.

Well, I don't particularly like the write-up for sorte and its strands either, but sometimes we need need a convenient description for consistency if we want to write something up in character to share.
